What Sports Forum Do You Use?

Obviously Talk Sports here is suffering so I'm looking for a good place to go. The site I go to right now is just extremely immature, so much name calling and personal attacks that it's not visitable for me. Anyone have a good place to go?

I was thinking OT Debates myself.

And ya wish I could give you some recommendations, but the vast majority of boards I've frequented for sports topics have the mentality of a spoiled four year old that's just shat their pants. The two that I frequent is either TSW (which is just as active in the Talk Sports section, if not a bit more) and another that seems to be a bit leery of folks joining.....and I believe your'e already a member.

I'm trying out Total Sports Heaven - Powered by vBulletin at the moment, it seems to have good posters but the only problem is that there aren't many. It'd be nice to see some people from here migrate over and try to make it better. It's the best I could come up with.

I think the internet as a whole has trended away from message boards over the last year and a half or so. Damned twitter and facebook.

I personally have stuck to this board and my website's board exclusively for years. In my latest venture I've upped the maturity of my board drastically, but in doing so I've brought down the activity level noticeably. The correlation is unfortunate.

Having short bursts of speech delivered in a massacred English helps to lower the bar, and lets folks get back to doing......whatever it was that was so pressing to get back too....American Idol maybe?

Most people first come to this site for the most up-to-date video game news but after looking around the site you will notice they have sub-forums for football, baseball, basketball, racing, golf, soccer. wrestling and they have all other sports listed as well.

The mods do a very good job on keeping things civil there. here's a quote from one of the mods in the mlb 2k10 forum...

"This is being posted in both the MLB 2k9 forum and the MLB 09: The Show forum.

The war is over. Period. I don't want to see any more game bashing either way. This will NOT turn into the next Madden/2k5 board war.

If I am told of fans of either game "invading" the other forum and bashing either game, action will be taken, including the banning of users from specific forums. As always, constructive criticism will be allowed.

If you see any of this, please use the "Report Post" feature, or PM myself or a moderator directly".

BTW, nfl 2k5 did own madden that's not even debatable...after 2k5 is when madden went after the expensive nfl rights.

anyway operation sports may be what you're looking for...if nothing else if you're looking to get those sliders right for mlb the show this is a no-brainer. Good luck.
