Let's see... Canada has to go to a shoot out to beat Switzerland; loses to the U.S.; and nearly blew a 3-0 lead to Slovakia. My prediction: U.S. wins gold medal.

(Actually, it's hard for me to care about hockey. The NHL has all but ruined the sport for me.)

Canada took their foot off the pedal after going up 3-0 and no they didn't play a stong game. If they play the way they can, they will win the Gold Medal. The US had the easier road to the final. The Slovaks are actually a pretty strong squad.

The way Team USA has been playing, it doesn't matter what teams they played on the road to the final. They are there because they are playing great hockey, right now. They'd be there no matter who was in their path.

This physicality is a joke. This is the olympics...no place for the scrums and "fights" that have happened.

What is the point of "no touch" icing? I don't like that rule.

Player saftey, I am pretty sure the NHL teams don't want defensemen or forwards getting injured racing for the puck. I personally don't like no touch icing, but it is what it is :P
