HELP - problem with exporting the reports

In my league Real World Baseball, which is on the OOTP-Leagues server, the report exports are simply not working. Well, the standings export to our site, but nothing else does. I am set up to export 14 days of box scores, and every other report that is available. I have a high speed cable connection and it still takes about 20 minutes to generate the reports and then about an hour to upload them. However, this week nothing uploaded except the standings and I have generated the reports and uploaded them twice, but still no results. The league file is just fine, but the reports are not.

Does anyone have a suggestion to offer?

PS- We are always looking for creative writers so if you want to write a story register your name/alias at our message board and post your story in our RWB Sports Page forum. The best stories get selected for our web page.

Also, we currently have one team open (Expos) and if you want them you can email me at Kyle.F@hornfans.com. You MUST submit an export file 2 times per week and you must be an active particpant or you will be booted out right away. Nothing personal, but RWB is a first class league and we don't want owners who don't contribute.

Well, I know that I have a high-speed connection and at times not all my info uploads. I don't think it is the game, not sure though.

HornsManiac - Are you getting an error in your ftp program saying the pages did not all upload? If not, maybe the pages did upload, but some of them may only show up in 2-6 hours. Sounds bizarre but similar things have happened in one of my leagues - this may be related to the ootp-leagues server in Germany or your local ISP. The explainations I have recieved from IT professionals has been that this update delay can be a result of an ISP's cache settings or if it uses a proxy server. I don't get the proxy suggestion but the cache explaination I have heard of before. Basically it's a way an ISP can save money by reducing bandwidth use - saving a % of pages & files to it's servers cache. The user may sometimes get the cached file or page even if the site has the newer page. Most users don't notice it because the pages/files do get updated - just 2-6 hours later.

So, I'd suggest uploading the pages once, then checking back in 2-6 hours to see if they are all there. It's an idea worth checking for anyway, better than uploading the same files several times each sim anyway
