windows 7 startup on netbook

I just bought a ASUS netbook that came with windows 7 startup as its operating system. Am I going to be able to download OOTP with this computer? If not I have to return it!

Do you have access to an Internet connection? If you do, then yes.

OOTP X does work with windows 7, i use OOTP X on windows 7. The thing you have to watch out for is the resolution. OOTP needs the 1024x768 display, which is hard to find sometimes on a netbook.

mine doesn't have that high resolution...will it not work at all then?...will be returning i guess if it won't work at all

It won't work. There is a program out there that can simulate the resolution but i'm not sure how that works.

I went through all this when I was looking for a netbook. If you do return then go to the demo section of a place like Best buy. Then check the resolution on the netbooks. Alot of the sport sim games need that resolution. I finally found one at best buy that had that resolution. I'm not sure of the exact model but it was a dell. Good luck.

I just bought a New laptop on Saturday and the transfer was good. The only thing I noticed was that my ratings got switched around I dont know what its from. But the gameplay and everything else worked great.
