Marlins Logo Request

Just wondering if anybody could possibly help me out with a logo or two I'm having trouble with. I'm currently using Paint Shop Pro 7 and not having much luck, so if somebody can do a better job than me I'd be quite happy.

What I'd like to get is a new Miami Marlins logo. Since I really don't know what kind of logo the team will have in 2012, I thought I'd throw out a couple of ideas.

The first one, I would like to see the "FLORIDA" part changed to "MIAMI". In both of them, I would like to see the teal changed to more of a blue-teal, colour code #367588. I would also like these to NOT be the circular logos, please. If somebody only wants to do the second one, that's not a problem, either.

As I said, I've tried modifying these myself without much luck. They just look too jagged for my liking. So if somebody could help me with modifying these logos or just give me a completely new one altogether based on that blue-teal colour, I'd be quite satisfied.

As a Marlins fan, these logos will probably be put to good use at some point, and its a good request. Thanks for posting, the work looks nice.

Thanks a lot for the resizing as well. Another thing I can't do well in PSP 7.

I think I remember reading somewhere that they were going for more blue, hence the reason for my request. Other than that, I really have no clue as to what they'd do.
