The Montreal Expos are now available.

They feature stars such as Cecil Cooper and Cesar Cedeno on the offensive side, but its their pitching that has them looking to meet their goal of breaking .500 in their 4th year of existence.

Our league gives the opportunity of minor league stars who never made the bigs a chance to do so. One of the great examples of this is Paul Sullivan, who along with Fergie Jenkins leads the NL's #2 ranked pitching staff.

Wow- thanks for all the interest!!! ORB2 is once again full, but coming to the end of our 1972 season some of our GM's may be in danger of meeting Participation Point requirements. That being said, if you're still interested now might be a great time to sign onto our forums, post an application, and get in line!

After a short break due to my long awaited promotion at work, ORB2 is ready to get going. With 1972 in the books and the Yankees world champs again (ugh), we're just about to start the offseason this week so it's the perfect time for a new GM to jump in and start to form the team in your image.

Teams currently available:
Los Angeles Dodgers
Cleveland Indians
Kansas City Royals

I am the current owner of the Indians, and they are in pretty good shape, they are really in need of some pitching and some moves i made last season left them some cap space this year to do that, and to extend one of thier big sticks to an extension.

Sorry at the lack of picks but they went to nab an ace, which is still here.

Feel free to hit me up over there once you take the over if you have any questions on what the current game plan was or about the club in general.

I am not leaving the league by choice, Family live is making me reduce the number of leagues i am in, and it was tough to drop this one off the list, but it was not the only one i had to drop.

We are bringing in minor leaguers who never made the bigs each year as one of the rewards for participation in writing. The ORB2 is a "writing league" which means we demand a minimal participation from each GM, thus leading to an active and vibrant forums!

I have followed your league somewhat from the outside in just the last few months. It is very cool... and is certainly a niche as you're "going after" the most active OOTP managers online since they know going in that writing is rewarded.

How do you get the minor league players? Got a database OR are you working your butt off researching and manually creating them, one by one?

The second one. I'm hoping that down the road we might be able to access the minor league database in game but for now, each team "buys" a minor leaguer per say and I basically create their ratings based on their stats.

If you're interested in taking a team we'd love to have you. Dodgers got filled today but that leaves the Indians and Royals yet, and possibly the Angels as well.

We are looking for a new owner in Montreal for the Expos. It's an attractive opening, as the team is in good financial shape and has young stars in RF Cesar Cedeno, 1B Cecil Cooper and SP Paul Sullivan to build around.

We are currently getting erady to start free agency, so you can come in and put your stamp on the team immediately.
