I'm back! OOTPHistory v 5.1 available

Hey guys, I'm back. I moved and lot of other things are going on, but I've been working on 5.1 and I think it's now ready. In the move, I lost some computer files, so if there are any issues that aren't fixed in this release, let me know - even if you have in the past - and I'll take a look.

Enhancements and Fixes

Fixed error with first/last year on letter index page if player didn't have any regular season batting, pitching, or fielding, but had post-season stats.
Fixed error when splitting stats for traded players if the player had pitching stats, but 0 innings pitched.
Fixed error that listed Centerfielders as Rightfielders (and RF as CF) on positional leaderboards. This will not happen for future years, but data already in the database will remain switched.
Fixed SmartCase function to fix names starting with 'Mc'. These names will now have the next letter capitalized. 'Mcginnity' will become 'McGinnity'.
Fixed error that occurred when league abbreviation was greater than 2 characters. Now it can be upto 10 characters long.
Added ability to incorporate player histories onto player pages. If checked on the Output tab of the Options screen, player files (pxxx.txt) will be imported into the database. When pages are created, histories will be listed under bio info and beside Awards & Accomplishements, if any.
Rearranged some of the options in the Options screens. The Use Player Photos and Use Team Logos checkboxes have been moved to the Output tab under the appropriate group. Also, the photo and logo location boxes have been replaced by a League Directory box on the General tab. The program will look for photos in \Photos, logos in \Logos, and player histories in \League_News_Box\Players under this directory. Be sure to update this on the options screen for your existing leagues.
Added support for CommishJoe's schedule exporter. (It's output must be in the data folder.) Don't forget to run this, too!
Added team schedule splits page. This page is linked from the team's year statistics page. The page contains the following splits: Home/Road, Pre/Post All-Star break, Interleague, Extra innings, Post-Season, 1-Run games, Blowouts, weekday, month, and other teams. It also lists every game played by that team that year.
Free agents are now automatically assigned to their correct team(s). HUGE time saver!!

Cato, what format does this utility look for when looking for photos? The reason I ask is because the photos for me are all incorrect, I was wondering if it was because I use both formats that the game allows. I have 2000 generic photos numbered 1-2000 so that every player in my league will have a photo but then I also have the properly named photo (ie Ed_Delahanty.bmp) so that they will have the proper photo. It looks like this causes a conflict with your utility, it seems to use the p number bitmap to get the photo for the player oppose to their actual name.

Is there anyway we can get that info imported for years that were done in version 4 as well?

Oh, and I'm having a problem too.

I'm using a database that was used with version 4, but now that I've upgraded to OOTP5 for my league, I'm trying to use it with version 5.

But... when I start to generate the HTML output, when it gets to "Calculating Park Factors" for 2004 (a season using version 4), I get an error that says "Error 94: Invalid use of Null has occured".

Any ideas on what is wrong?

Did you use CommishJoe's Park exporter?

Just the first thing that came to mind.

Well, I find that if I go into "Win Shares" in the options menu that I can tell it NOT to use park factors... but if I do that, then when it gets to "Assigning Hitting Win Shares" I get the exact same error (Error 94: Invalid use of Null has occured).

Any ideas?

I might be getting the same error when processing the fielding of traded players. "creating player's fielding stats for each team".

It looks for the PNum first, if it doesn't find it, it then looks for the name. I can switch this in the next version.

No, team splits in version 4 won't be possible as that comes from the schedule exporter, which only works for version 5.

Everyone having problems, can you send me the data files? All the csv files (be sure to include park & schedule ones as well) and the 3 HTML files. It is easiest way to find the problem.

I'm getting the same errors. I dumped the database, created a new one and have tried to import each season separately, but continue to get the same errors.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
