Special Rules & Settings: We're a historic league that started play with the 1961 MLB season. We're about to expand to 20 teams in 1962
Currently Available Teams: One or two teams available (Mets, Colt '45s)(Trying to fill one team off my waiting list, but no response from that person yet....he'll get first dibs on a team if he responds)

The AMBL Historic was born out of the remnants of a modern day league called the AMBL. That league failed after 6 full seasons due to OOTP issues. After that a group of remaining GMs from that league agreed to continue in a smaller, historic based league that began play in 1961. We're about to finish the 1961 season, and when we do the league will expand to 20 teams to match the real MLB history.

I'm looking to fill both 1962 expansion teams. I have one person on my waiting list that I'm trying to contact. If he responds he'll get first dibs on an expansion team and there will be one team left. If he doesn't respond I'll be looking to fill both teams.

The 1962 expansion draft will take place once I've filled both teams, which we hope will be by next week sometime.
