I guess this is a common problem, sometime this is hapenning to me and I have to simulate other games to be able to play mine without this error and sometimes you can play with no problem.
I think this should be verify by Markus, it is more likely a programming problem than anything else. |

I'll take a look at a screenshot of the error message and see if I can decipher it. He tried sending me one this morning, but that didn't work. It's a .wpd file. Anyone know what that is or how to use it? I tried opening it, but I got that little Windows message saying that it could not open this type of file - please select a program to open it with from the list below. I have no idea. So hopefully he'll send me just a plain old .bmp screen capture of it and I can take a look at it. But Pierre, you may be right - it might jst be a programming thing, but personally, I'm not so sure of any other workarounds for this problem.

Alright dbacks it's sent....I don't know why I didn't save it as a bmp to begin with but I saved it as a wordperfect document and I couldn't figure out how to change it over to bmp so I did another screen capture on that word perfect file...Let me know if there is a problem....

Ok, I've got it. I'm looking at it right now. It might be a few minutes, but hang on a minute - I'm looking.

That's weird. I'm runnnig XP, too, and I'm not having these problems. Wonder what's causing this message.

Okay - as a last resort - whenever you get the chance, try re-installing XP. I don't know what else to say other than that, and just sim games if that's what works. Sorry I'm not much help. Maybe someone else can offer some advice, too.

I have the same problem that you do and I get the message at different times as well. The last time I was creating a historical league and the message came up while the database was being accessed to put the players into my league.
I have Windows NT, my C drive has 33.1 GB of free space and my F drive (where my game and the Lahman database is located) has 34.4 GB of free space. Steven and I have been emailing back and forth about this problem. You are not alone!
