Yeah,
I really like windows7 over all. Smooth and fast, no problems now that I got TBCB working. I never really had any problems with Vista either after I got used to the differences from xp. |

Windows 7
Hi Bogie
Glad you like Windows 7. I'm impressed with it. TB seems to work better in 7 than in Vista, or is that just me? I'd be interest in what you think. Dean |

Hey Dean,
It seems to me that everything is faster in Windows7 than Vista. What else have you noticed. The game sure seems to load much quicker. I have yet to sim a fight yet. Jack |

You're right about it loading quicker. It seems to me as if the game runs smoother than under Vista. This could probably be because 7 hasn't got the overheads that Vista had. I never ran it under XP so I can't compare performance there. More than likely it's just me and there's no difference at all. Dean |

Yeah Dean,
everything seems quicker, when I hit the button to turn the laptop on it seems like its up and everything loaded in just a few seconds. I am totally happy with it so far. Big improvement. Jack |

I could not do it the normal way due to Vista not allowing me into the eLicense folder. I got something from ootp called an unlicense. I just googled about not being able to unlicense it and I found that and downloaded it. If you can't find it let me know and I can email it to you.

Did the people who got TBCB working with Windows 7 just transfer their files over from one OS to another? Or do you have to run the setup file first?

I just got the game loaded and running and then used a memory stick to transfer the files over from my old laptop.

Are you guys happy overall with Windows 7 or is it too early to tell?
I've been hearing lots of promises from Microsoft - all the way back to the late 80's. It would be nice if things FINALLY lived up to their billing. .
