European League Set Up
I plan to expand my universe with european leagues.
As I am from Germany, I wonder what level this might be. I think of a small league with 8 teams with expansions later. Which level do they play, compared with the MLB? I am asked about the level in the set up menu. Is it OK to have a German League play, let's say, at "Single A" level? Do you think it should be lower than this. I am not sure about that. What are your thoughts on that? Last edited by RoteLaterne; 06-29-2009 at 07:48 AM. |

Hi there RoteLaterne,
I'm relatively new to OOTP, having played the game for just a little over a year, but I do know my baseball...hehehe...and since I'm from México, I'm a big fan of both, MLB and Intl. Baseball. I guess that the level of your league would depend on the level of your players. Once, I created a World League based on the WBC format, featuring teams and players (both fictional and real life) from 20 countries. Since I had many MLB superstars combined with many minor leaguers, I set the league up at "international" level, which was the best way to reconcile higher level teams/players with lower level. I think that could work better for you, rather than setting up your league as Class A or even AA. Also, I've some pics and coordinates for some European ballparks from Italy (Nettuno), the Netherlands (Amsterdam) and Germany (Regensburg), as well as some European player pics. Let me know if you're interested so I can send them to you, ok? Hope this helps. Take care and good luck with your Eurobaseball League! Talk soon. |
