Many HOF questions

My league is about 11 seasons old now, and some of the players are beginning to retire. I'd like to know several things before some of my favorites reach the end of their careers.

1- Does the AI pick HOF players for me? If so, what criteria does it use?

2- I see some things like minimum 500 HRs for automatic induction. Does it also induct players that don't reach these levels, but had great careers nonetheless?

3- How does the AI decide which team to induct the player under? Last team played on, team played on the longest, team during most productive years, other?

4- Will it pick players that only played 7 or 8 years because they were already in their late 20s when the league began?

5- If a player is selected, can they be removed from the Hall?

Thanks for your assistance!

1. Yes. It uses the criteria you set in league setup.

2. No, your criteria is the benchmark.

3. It doesn't decide. In OOTP players go to the HOF as players, not wearing the ballcap of a specific team.

4. If players meet your criteria, they will be elected, regardless of how many years they played.

5. Yes. Right click on a player in the HOF and you will see an option to remove them from the HOF. works the same on the opposite side of the coin also, if you feel a player should be in the HOF and he's not, right click and you will see an option to induct him.

Bottom line here is, you get to decide who is and isn't in your HOF. Some people, myself included, set their criteria to ridiculously high numbers so noone gets automatic selection, then at the end of each year, peruse the retired playes and elect who you feel belongs.

You can also set your criteria to all zeros and noone will get elected.

You can choose the uniform if you go on the comissary mode. Select the player, go to editor (or something like that) in his profile, you will have an option to choose a league/team on the left part, use the image fonction to generate a pic with the new uniform, freeze the picture, change back the team info to none and it's done

This is what I do for all the retired players, since I don't like the generic FA uniform and you keep a memory of the uniforms not use anymore.
