Removing the HoF

When I start up a historical game, it starts with several hundred HoFers. Removing them one at a time is laborious. How do I quickly remove them, or prevent them from from appearing in the first place? I have removed the HoF spreadsheet from the stats folder, but I still begin play with hundreds of HoFers.

Other than living with it, are there any suggestions?

HaHa,I feel your pain,it took me two hours at least to dump all of those phony HOF'ers one by one.Why they're all there I have no idea,but as far as I know that's the only way to do it.

Edit the hall of fame part of the Lahman database. Or just erase it. That will get rid of the hall of famers.
