help with editing

I have recently purchased OOTP10 and started a new 2009 game and was able to edit coaches names and other info. I have since started a new game and am unable to edit anything. If I remember correctly it was in the action button on the bottom of the screen but it's not giving me the option to edit now. Am I missing something here? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Make sure you are in commissioner mode, from the managers options screen.
