New League---Question for European Soccer Fans

Have a solo league idea...48 teams, 24 per league; one in North America & one in Europe

the NA teams would be pro baseball teams...the Euro league would be the more storied soccer franchises in European soccer...no foreigners allowed on rosters

So.....for you European soccer fans....suggestions on 24 teams? some are obvious, but I doubt I could even name 24 European soccer teams

Calling the game soccer is going to get you in trouble with any English football fans on here Thinking of starting a European league myself. These are the teams I have been thinking of using.

England:
Manchester United
Liverpool FC
Chelsea FC
Arsenal FC
Germany:
FC Bayern Munchen
SV Werder Bremen
VfB Stuttgart
Hertha BSC Berlin
Italy:
AC Milan
Inter Milan
Juventus FC
AS Roma
Spain:
FC Barcelona
Real Madrid FC
FC Sevilla
Athletic Club Bilbao
France:
Olympique Lyonnaise
Paris Saint Germain
AS Saint Etienne
Olympique de Marseille
Holland:
Ajax
Amsterdam
PSV Eindhoven
AZ Alkmaar

No particular reason for these choices but they are all fairly top teams.

The highest level in european soccer is the Champions League

uefa.com-UEFA Champions League-Clubs

and then the Euro League

uefa.com-UEFA Europa League-Clubs

Here you find many of the most storiest club in football (even when the east european clubs may have not the prestige and history).

Generally interesting are the english, scottish (but only the two Glasgow teams), italian and spanish league. In Germany ony Bayern München is a really good team all others are wannebes - they want but they can not (esp. Schalke) and some province teams are famous for firing coaches who became later successfull (like Rehagel in Kaiserslautern who was then national coach of Greek and the Greek national team won the european championship - basically they are province and the fans think like province).

gracias---I appreciate it

and I understand with that first comment---although stating "football" instead of soccer while stating I can't name 24 soccer teams would be almost as bad

I think North America alone would be pretty limiting in terms of football...perhaps North and South America would be better.

I agree if I was doing a straight soccer team league; but I was wanting to keep North American teams as actual baseball teams
