Version Levels

I recently downloaded the 10.2.18 patch and once the game loaded I looked at the top left corner of the title screen to verify the version number and it is saying 10.2.16. So I tried downloading and installing the patch from a mirror site and the same thing is happening. In case it was automatically patching the wrong directory, I also tried manually pointing to the folder where the exe is located and still no luck.

I checked the website today and under 'OOTP Latest News' it is listing the following game versions:

# OOTP 10 Patch # 3 (10.2.18) Released
# OOTP 10 Patch # 2 (10.2.15) Released
# OOTP 10 Patch # 1 (10.1.14) Released
# OOTP 10 Released to Public!

Was there ever a 10.2.16 and why am I not seeing the correct version? Is there another way to validate that I have the correct version? Thanks.

IIRC, the 10.2.18 patch was Mac-specific. For the PC, there were only two patches, and I think you're right, the last was 10.2.16, not .15. It may be a typo. If I get a chance, I'll check it out unless someone gets back to you sooner.

10.2.18 was just a mac license fix I believe. So if you are on PC, the latest is 10.2.16.

I think there was a 10.2.15 then 10.2.16, then for MACs 10.2.16 was pulled and replaced by 10.2.18 (but it remained 10.2.16 for PC when you load it up).

Not really the clearest ever, but it is what it is I suppose!
