Just wondering

I just finished playing a 1961 season and I want to continue on to 1962 but I am waiting for the expansion draft to add the Mets and Colt .45's. How to do I get the draft started and how do I advance to 1962 ? Do I have to start a new game ? or what ?

Make sure that the "automatically expand league" option is checked at the top of the Options tab in League setup.

The expansion draft process will start automatically a few days after the 1961 WS is over. You will be required to create a "protection list" for your team before the actual draft occurs.

Thanks it's all good I found it, just finishrd the 1962 expansion draft and it is almost spring training time. Oh I wish it really was

So, who won, Cin or NY? In my league, Cin lost to NY in 1960, then my SF lost to NY in seven games in 1961.

But hope spring eternal ...

The Yankees managed by yours truly beat the Reds in 7 games. In fact you can go to SimCentral.NET Forums - For the sports and gaming lover in you and look under the section Heinsohn it is listed as 1961 Yankees on OOTP X

Just finished the 1962 expansion draft to add 1962 Houston Colt .45's and NY Mets and all 20 teams are headed for spring training.
