Are there OOTPX Problems ???

I just recently bought OOTPX, never played before X. Now I joined 5+ leagues and almost everyone of them has had sim problems where the rosters get messed up. Is something wrong with OOTPX ???

The only issue I know of is the rotation can get messed up if you use the 7 day lineups. My league sims 7 games at a time. I use the 7 day lineups but I make sure that I set my pitcher manually each sim.

That is only an issue if the manager doesn't understand how 7 day lineups work in the game. If you are only simming 7 days at a time and you use 7 day lineups, you should be fine.

The issue is if you sim more than 7 days but use a 7 day lineup, you then are telling the AI to use your 7 day lineup, and then continue from the normal pitching rotation once the 7 days are up. Usually however most managers don't think far enough ahead to set the rotation to the correct pitcher and then the AI goes crazy trying to find a rested pitcher to use as a starter.

All you need to do is figure out who your next pitcher should be on day 8 (the day after the 7 day lineups are done), and set your next pitcher to that pitcher and you'll be fine.

It still got messed up with just 7 day sims. I'm not sure why. Originally I was in a league that simmed 15 days at a time and I noticed this. I thought that was the issue, so when I created my league I decided to only sim 7 days- but for some reason my #5 starter kept pitching 2 days in a row for the first month or two. I'm not sure why- since I never touched my lineups from opening day. Now I double check them before going to the commish portal.

Well in one sim, you click on one of your players and it comes up a different player from a different team.

Most recent, almost 90% of my players are names j.unknown and no stats from the 100+ games played.

One sim, my R & S/A had a record of over 70+ games but no one on the team had any stats...

That sounds like an issue that I have been seeing lately with having downloaded a partial file. Just out of curiosity, the league you see this from, do you download the league file via HTTP or FTP?
