Question individual player strategy settings

I read somewhere that the individual player settings "override" the general team settings. Are the individual settings cumulative with the team settings, or instead of? E.g., if your team is set one notch above normal stealing, and you set an individual at two notches above, is the net effect two notches above, or more?

Thanks for any help.

Hmmm... I htought it was Manager Tactis + Player Tendacies... If you are two clicks to the right on manager stealing and a player is "middle", then he will steal attempt more than average.

I would like to know for sure . . .

The individual settings override the general settings. Whatever you set the player at is what his setting will be. This is according to the in-game description when you are in the team tendencies screen. Now, if the player SB setting is set in the middle (i.e. not changed) and the team is maxed out I'm not really sure what happens...

My belief is that if you have edited any of a player's settings (so he is now green in the player list), all of his settings (even the ones you left in the middle) override all of the team settings.

I guess it's easy enough to run a test.

Thanks - that's good info. I thought that "override" meant that the team setting weren't considered anymore, but I became suspicious when individual tendencies seemed to be happening in the extreme.

The individual settings can't completely override the team settings or the team settings would be totally useless. I guess they could override only if the player's been adjusted (is green).
