Special Rules & Settings: Bonuses for media writings, not a ton, but enough to make people want to write and keep things interesting. Should be a boat load of fun!
Currently Available Teams: Only 3 slots taken, so depending on how many, we got 13-17 to go.

Classic Baseball Union

Basically in a nut shell, its going to be a league thats based around the forum, we want to have fun and be a small community sharing the same interest in the game and winning at fictional baseball. Writing is not required but strongly encouraged, and we won't be the type of league to throw you out the door because life gets busy and you miss a few exports. I have most of the plans laid out on the message board, rule book, etc already but there is still room to help shape the league.

What I'm personally looking for is people who can check a message board on a as close to at least every other day. Obviously if you're gone, busy, or whatever you can post and let everyone know, but for the most part keeping in touch will keep the league fresh and alive.

The OOTPX game is a requirement.

Check out the main page, I've already written some pretty simple articles to get things going, it should be a rocking good time.

I have been playing OOTP since version 3, but I have never joined an on-line league before. If you are serious about not being bothered by rampant noobishness, then I am interested in jumping into the ring. What do I need to do to get started? (If you accept me into the league.)

I like the idea of creating a small community through the league forum. That's really what I'm most interested in. I've played in league with Jordan in the past and I believe he'll do a great job as commish. Can't wait to start playing!

We're at about 7 teams in so far, and I love it. There's a few more sporting interest, and we may be hitting that 20 number instead of 16. Who knows. Keep the PM's, email's, twitters coming!

Having a little trouble registering on the league board. The boards are taking forever to load, so it might be a connection issue.

At the moment we are full at 16 teams, we are going to stick to 16 for now, when things really take off, look for expansion teams, or if you are interested, please stop by and say hi anyway and we'll be in touch if anything unforeseen happens!
