Player Expenses Bug
Not sure if this has been posted or brought to anyone's attention...
When a computer-controlled team releases a player, the released player's total contract is not factored against a team's Player Expenses. For example, I purposely signed a player to a 5-year, $10M per year deal and let the computer take control of the team. Three games later, that player was released without $50M showing up in the Player Expenses figure for that team. If anyone can explain/fix this it would be a great help. Thanks. |

The more I think about this, the more I think it needs to be corrected. If the CPU-controlled teams can sign free agents and release them with no penalty, what's the point in even having a financial system?

Is this definitely happening? There has been no response from the moderators on this post. It seems like a big bug to me if it is happening.

It has been listed in the "Master List" of impending improvements, so I guess someone took notice. I hope they get it resolved because the AI releasing plyers with 3+ years on their contracts is really screwing up my season!
