Stan Musial got 2 homers, but the 20 inning 6th was great to watch, plus there were 2 grand slams in the game, both in the 6th inning. weirdy, for 20 runs, only 7 hits were needed, thanks to 12 walks and 1 error. there was another walk in the inning, but no run came of it. tHe pitcher made 2 of the outs bunting! We sent 24 men to the plate!

May I ask how you got all those HOF on the same time while the Browns don't even have a guy with more than 6 HR? :/

Just took a perfect game to 2 outs in the 7th before giving up a hit. Ended up with 1-hitter with only one walk given up with 1 out in the 9th. Strong performance by my #4 starter who is 8-7 with a 4.06 ERA.

This has probably never happened in real life. Carlos Lee goes deep twice in one inning. Not in a regular season game but in the All-Star Game.

Wow...just followed up my 1-hitter with a 3-hitter by the #1 starter. Not bad considering my #1 starter was a MR for the first 4 seasons and then converted to a SP this season. His endurance is only a 40 and is considered a borderline starter, although he has a 4.5 star rating.

Just ended up on the wrong end of a great pitching duel managing my single A team. My starter goes 9 innings, only giving up one hit and one walk. Sound like a great start, right? Problem is, the opposing picher threw 10 NO HIT INNINGS, walking just two. But he also ended up with no decision, as the game went 14 innings before they finally got to my bullpen. A great game to watch, regardless of the outcome.

Mike Moore just no-hit my club in Game 3 of the World Series. He struck out one and walked three as we got crushed 15-0. We won the Series in five games, though. This is the only no-hitter I can recall seeing in the playoffs. (Not that that means much with the thousands of simmed seasons I've run in the last seven years of OOTP.)

Todd Wellemeyer: Perfect game, 22 K, and himself hit a three-run homer during a 3-0 win.
The next game, Lohse/my bullpen gave up 10 HR in one game. That was painful. (28-4). |

I just had among the rarest of baseball rarities....
My team was no-hit, but I won. 1-0. The run was scored on a walk, a steal of 2nd that was thrown into the outfield, allowed the runner to go to 3rd, and a sac fly. First time I've ever been no-hit against. The player of the game wasn't even the no-hitter pitcher, it was my own pitcher! Fortunately, at least the game realized the guy threw a no-hitter and the game had a news event in the database in case this happened. Kudos! |

I thought I was alone on this. Seems most don't really care for record keeping. Although they start threads like this. The game keeps a few but none for individual games. Even the ancient baseball for windows has this so I'm sure OOTP could to. ALSO it needs a schedule maker that is useful. Again BBW has this and its OLD. Add these 2 features and IMO this game would be as close to perfect as possible.

This just might be the record for biggest comeback.
I had a 14-2 lead going into the bottom of the 8th. I decided to go to the bullpen. Two relievers gave up 10 runs. A third reliever gave up 2 more in the 9th to tie up the game and then the opposing team scored a run in the bottom of the 10th to beat me. I couldn't believe it. But then again, I was having one terrible night last night, so this was par for the course.

Richard "Bad Moon" Fioravanti, my first ever first overall pick, hit 9 HRs in a week...with three straight 3-HR games.
And he didn't win player of the week. He also his 60 HRs that year with a .337 AVG and lost the MVP to his teammate...who hit 56 HRs and stole 75 bases.

![]() 15 Strikeouts in 6.2 innings. My 22 year old ace Theodore "Boo Boo" Joyce. I simmed 5 years into the future in my fictional league and made a list of the bottom 5 teams for that period, but Joyce made the decision for me. I was able to build a very good defense around him, just waiting for my first no hitter. |
