Federal Baseball League converting to OOTPX with openings
The Federal Baseball League (Federal Baseball League) will be converting to OOTPX immediately after the 1958 playoffs, which are scheduled to be run "live" tomorrow night.
With the conversion, we have at least one opening (Oakland Victory), so if you have OOTPX and would like to join a long-standing league (the FBL is only about 7 months old. I ran JOBL for 6 real years before we re-started as the FBL this year. Many owners remain.) The FBL is an 18-team fictional league set in the late 1950s, complete with era adjusted financial settings and league output. In addition to the FBL, a fictional MLB runs in the background, so FBL teams can scrape up aging MLB vets to help improve their teams. MLB also has the ability to sign FBL talent, but hasn't to date (the leagues have distinct talent levels, so upward movement to MLB is very rare.) The FBL also has an agreement with a fictional Cuban league that allows FBL teams to showcase talented Cuban ballplayers. As mentioned above, we also run "live" playoff sims where I share my screen and we watch the play-by-play unfold. We have also done live ammy drafts, but will most likely rely on the StatsLab utilities going forward. Overall, we're a very fun, easy going bunch that loves baseball. League rules can be found here: League Rules Federal Baseball League Any questions, let me know! Otherwise, send your name, primary email address, and a little bit about yourself/OOTP experience to jason.dettbarn AT gmail.com Hope to hear from you!

This is a fun league, and Jason is an innovative, attentive Commish. This league has the extras, yet is streamlined and smooth.

To emphasize Satchel's point, the FBL has an EXTREMELY attentive commish that quickly responds to any questions that arise. I am an OOTP vet, but had never paid attention to online leagues until I joined the FBL. You will not be disappointed!

I've enjoyed my time in the league. We've got a few seasons under our belt and are startingt to develop some history. A nice sized fictional league that you can really sink your teeth into.

Update:
Tuesday is the deadline for current owners to let me know if they are continuing our journey into OOTPX. Two open teams have been accounted for already, but if you are interested in joining, now is a good time as you'll have first chance at any additional openings that come up.

Get in on this league. Jason's a great commish, a great guy, and he runs a terrific league.

Wow, this looks interesting, especially enjoyed the effort put into the backstory. I would be very interested if any teams become available.
