OOTP 10 Demo Now Available!

A demo version of OOTP 10 is now available, so now you truly have no excuse not to give us a try! The demo version is valid for 7 real-world days, one-and-a-half seasons of fictional play, or one-half season of historical play. Aside from these limitations, the demo version is fully functional. No features are limited in our demo!

Is there a mirror with a faster download speed? I can usually download at 150-200 KB/sec, but for some reason, I'm only getting about 8 KB/sec

Is it normal for this to take forever to download? it says 3 hours, which is odd because i'm on a high speed connection

Well, the guy that posted it is one of the founders of OOTP and the link goes to the OOTP web site, so I am guessing it is legit.

I downloaded it on Wedneday and I am not sorry that I did, I tried a demo of OOTP a couple of years ago and was not happy with it and deleted the demo after 2 or 3 days. But I have found so far that OOTP lives up to all the hype.

I'm downloading it now. Like to see first hand the differences from ver9.

But it's slooooooooooooooooow. I'll be lucky to get it in two days with my very fast dsl.

Good lord this is downloading slow... been over 10 minutes and I've download exactly 9 MB. Clearly something is amiss? I also had to use the 'search' button to find the demo....

I think the point of the demo is to convince me to buy it... If I can't find the link, and if I can't download it in a reasonable amount of time... will I still buy it?

I have a few hours on my day off to spend with OOTP 10, but that seems unlikely now.

heh. It took me something like 6 hours to download it, and I'm on a cable connection. Usually, something the size of OOTP would take a few minutes to download.

Found it. It's the regular Mac file. No demo designation.
