Ace Starters
Can someone tell me what I need to fix and where to go to fix it so my Aces will pitch like Aces and not give up 8 runs a game!!! I am talking about your Halladay, Verlander, Beckett, Sabathia, etc.!! I cant believe this game doesnt have something like this right all ready. So if someone can tell me how to fix it so they will pitch like they are suppose to I would appreciate it!!!!

Justin Verlander has given up five runs or more four times this season, including two outings in which he gave up over seven runs. Josh Beckett has given up five runs or more four times this season, including two outings in which he gave up over seven runs. C.C. Sabathia has given up five runs or more six times this season, including three outings in which he gave up over six runs. Do you see a pattern here, Tigers09? I think the members of these kind forums want more information (like your team strategies, long term ERAs, talent ratings). In reality, "Aces" get shelled every now and then. If you can't hand this, I recommend Badminton. |

How did you manage to get Halladay, Sabathia, Beckett, AND Verlander on the same team?

exploited the game, if they are all on his team. if they are, that would be hilarious, basically complaining about a cheat not working

As many have pointed out in the past, the game doesn't recognize names. Those players are just collections of numbers to the AI. Is this a new league or one you've imported from a previous version? How many games have these guys pitched in your season? What are some of their stats; eg. IP, hits, HR's, etc.? Have you changed any modifiers? Are your other pitchers getting shelled too or only the guys you consider aces? What kind of pitch ratings do these aces have, and what do their other ratings look like? Are you playing the most recent patch? If you provide some info, people might be able to help you determine if there's a problem with your league.
