BZ 3311: Different Scouting Ratings on Profile vs. Scouting Reports

I wasn't sure if this was a technical error or a new guy (haven't played in 2 years) error. Hopefully, I got the right forum. Basically, I'm seeing some different scouting ratings when I navigate between the player profile tab and the scouting reports tab. I'm playing on commissioner mode. Does that effect it? If not, why the difference?

A few of us mentioned this when the game came out, but it doesn't seem to have been fixed with the patch. The problem is most pronounced with pitchers.

Oh, good. I only did a quick search and didn't see this.

While we wait, is there any word about which is the "legit" review? I'm assuming it's the one on the profile page, since it matches what I see in lists of multiple players.

This was fixed in the patch. When applying the patch, you may have to wait until the scout updates his report until the fix shows up.

I think it's still a problem. I'm still seeing it fairly regularly in a league created with the new patch. I've seen others mention it too.

I just installed the new patch, and I'm still seeing this issue.

It's really not that big of a deal in the short term as long as I know which one is actually my scout's thoughts...

I say that because I had my scout run a scouting report on a FA prospect. He came back saying the kid's potential relative to the MLB was 2.0 stars. When I looked at the profile page, that same scout said 3.0 stars of potential. When I go to the scouting tab, I see 2.0 stars of potential.

I take it the scouting tab is accurate insomuch as saying what the scout thinks?

I've updated with new patch....definitely still an issue.

Also has anyone noticed drastic changes in scouting reports during or right before spring training.

Had numerous "Future all-stars" and "can't miss" guys change to "minor league journeyman" very quickly. I know this happens in real life but this is ridiculous.
