A new Fictional League was created during import of OOTP9 game

I imported my OOTP9 game into OOTPX last night, and at first the import seemed to have gone just fine. I'm examining the leagues, players, menus, and then I come to the BNN Home page. What do I find? A new fictional league was there, one not deliberately created in either OOTP9 or in OOTPX.

An odd quirk, though I thought I could just go to League Setup and remove the league. Well, no, because it's not showing up there. Seems like this mysterious new Fictional Baseball League (ML level) is like a benign tumor that cannot be excised. Still, I'd like to remove it if possible.

To be clear, the FBL was *not* in my OOTP9 game. It was somehow created when I imported my OOTP9 game into OOTPX.

What were you doing? Importing OOTP9 game to OOTPX (latest version of OOTP9)
What happened? New Fictional League was created during import of OOTP9 game; this league shows up on BNN home page but not in League Setup page (cannot delete league using normal method)
Reproducible? Yes
Problem occurs with other leagues? N/A

Tajoumaru,

Sorry for the delay in responding to your thread.

Is there any way you could FTP us a copy of your OOTP 9 league? I'd like to attempt to reproduce this problem. Have you tried a second time, and does it do the same thing?

Actually, it might help to upload copies of both versions you have - the OOTP 9 version and the OOTP 10 with the problem.

Thanks very much,

Steve
