Draft question

I am in the process of setting up a fictional league with real players. How would I set the draft up so that when the next version comes out it will include actual players that were drafted this year? Also I have no desire to draft imaginary players two months after the season starts. I have no problem if there are minimal players like this in order to fill out the rosters, but do not want to get to a point where the entire league is completely fictional. Thanks.

Then you should start your league as a historical league at some point in the past. If you start on opening day 2009, the game has no choice but to create fictional players as the real players disappear from the league....

OK, thanks. I have one more question, should I change the draft date to after the season also?

If you are drafting real players, yes....otherwise they start their career a year sooner than real life...
