Boxscores and messages

I'm playing a historical league and there are a ton of boxscores and messages being saved from the previous seasons that I don't need. If I delete them out of the folders on my computer, this won't screw up the game will it?

Or is there some way to have the AI not save boxscores or messages past a season?

Game set up then look at Auto-Save and Log Options.

Deleting causes no problems.
