There is upside to that. The downside is that it gives the competition a tool to make better rosters with.

While I won't comment on the competitiveness of the game itself, PureSim has had open editing (with caution of course) of the player db through MS Access for a while.

Way back in the day, Shaun Sullivan got his start with the BBPro 98 editor module which had a lot of nice, nifty functionality for its time.

It's truly a shame that OOTP can't share what appears to be a comparable tool.

Reminds me of the Danger Z Editor for High Heat. Could transfer a player from one league to another. Build league history, etc. 3D0 supported why couldn't Markus support this one?
