New League, images won't upload with initial file.
Ok, so I just finished creating logos and jerseys for my entire league universe. 12 team league with 5 levels of minors, 2 international independent leagues and two feeders. It was a ton of work.
Anyhow, I was saddened today when testing the file I uploaded it to our server to have my brother try it out. Upon downloading it from his end, we found out that none of the images I have in my file were transfered. I have checked in game and haven't seen anything that may be preventing the images from being included in the upload. Any help would be appreciated. I am trying to get this figured out before opening the league to the public for recruitment. Thank you in advance.

Perhaps a recommendation for your league would be to manually include those images into the initial league file. Since each user has to download the league file manually the first time, having it be a bit bigger with all of the images, is no huge deal. That way you can make sure all of that is set up correctly.

I was thinkng the next step would be to provide a zipped image file along with the initial league download. The GMs would need to put the images into their saved game file in order for it to work. I appreciate the feedback. =) Thank you!

I am having the same problem and it's driving me crazy.
We are about to start our initial draft -- 30 team fictional league. As Commish I updated every team's custom made logo, cap, jersey, etc. The logos look fine in my game and they uploaded fine to our league website. But the other owners are not seeing the team logos in their game (or the player images for that matter). I then created a zip file with all logos, jerseys, and caps and emailed it to all league owners, who then plugged those folders into the base league DIR. Still not working. The latest league file (which was 111 megs) has the box checked for new images but it's doesn't seem to matter. No logos and no player images. Is there anything I can do to get this stuff in the other players' game? They HAVE the files. The game just isn't seeing them. --bill |

Chances are that since they didn't get the images initially, when they opened the game and started poking around with the file, their game generated the missing images. Have they tried cleaning out their image folder within the saved game file? Try that and then extract the zipped image file into the empty folder.
This worked for our league. |
