Getting Better With Age?
Does age or experience have any effect on the coach or manager's effectiveness with the players?
Would a 25 year old Brilliant manager with 0 experience be just as effective as a 60 year old Brilliant manager with 20 years experience? Thanks in advance.

I don't believe so- but I think that its possible for ratings to change/decay over time; so I would be more apt to sign a younger scout/coach...

I think that they do. I can almost swear that I've seen online leagues where all coaches and Scouts started as Average and some improved...

Well...I think in real life there is something to be said about as a manager gets older..."some"...don't relate to the younger players as well. "Some" may even be hanging onto things that are no longer as relevant in the current game as it once was when they were younger...
When the older manager/scouts/coaches...go down...I think of it like that... |

Some do get worse and become unable to relate to players, but some get better after honing their skills for years and learning from past mistakes. They also learn how to be better teachers. I would actually bet that more of them get better than worse. At least, until they get too old to be on the field anymore.

I see that many of my coaches improve over time, but I assume that their ratings are independent of their experience i.e. outstanding is a universal rating. However, I find that the older/more experienced coaches want much shorter contracts, more money and are more likely to disappear - hence youth is better.

I wonder if we can get someone to address the original question here?
