Reserve Roster but no Affiliates ?!

I started a whole new game, with an mlb setup, 30 teams, no affiliate teams and a 40 men roster size. Therefore I have no roster expansion later in the season.

When I go to the team's transactions screen I can see a reserve roster there.

Why is that?
How can I delete that?

Without minor league affiliates, the 15 players not on your active roster have nowhere to go. So they go onto the reserve roster, where they essentially develop as if they were playing for minor league teams.

If you don't set up a minor league system, you have a reserve roster.

You can change the active roster size in the game setup rules section to a 40 man active roster, or virtually any other number you want for that matter. Your transactions screen will always show a reserve roster, but it would be empty in your case after increasing the active roster size.
