Sound? Vista?

I have not been on these boards for a long time, and I have not seen the new version, so this might be a newb question, but I was curious to know if there is any sound in OOTP X. It isn't a big deal, and I know historically in this franchise there has been techinical difficults regarding Windows sound drivers, so I was just curious.

Also, what is the Vista compatibiliy like. Are there issues?

I play under Vista, with sounds, and have had really no issues with the game at all as far as CTDs and what not. Occasionally the sound can get kind of kooky, but its better than nothing

Hope you won't mind a slight diversion from the topic, but rather than start a new thread:

There are 3 sound files in \My Documents\Out of the Park Developments\OOTP Baseball 10\sounds named - Intro1.wav, Intro2.wav and Intro3.wav.

They are rock music type sound and I replaced them with traditional ballpark organ music files of the same format, but the rock music still plays during game sim.

Where is it coming from? Embedded in another file? Kind of spoils the old time nostalgic mood, plus on my system, they are WAY too loud. Make me jump in my chair each time they wind up.

Thanks

A little off as well, but my game does the whole "not responding" thing almost after every day simmed. I'm running Vista too. Anybody else have that problem?

I have Vista and the first time I tried running it I got an error and was told to run it as an admin. I ran it like that the first time and haven't had to do it again, it runs great (no crashes). Sound is the same as it ever was.
