Small problem - Chien-Ming Wang actually had two strikeouts that game.

Here's an error in a trade report.
See second paragraph.....Hoffpauir's record given here was with the Cubs and not the Mets. Ian |

Fixed. The team nickname should not be used in season stats descriptions. If so, it will give the wrong team in a trade story, which uses the season stats description. I just removed the team's nickname. That should fix it. There was only one story in the database that had a team nickname in the season stats descriptions. EDIT: Nevermind it makes more sense to post it in the roster set thread.

Are there going to be releases of new text/pbp files like we had before the first patch? That way you wouldn't really need a full on patch to correct the news errors, pbp errors, etc.

Usually with each patch the text file is updated. Maybe pstrickert knows the answer. |

First of all, pbp is outstanding! Kudos to all involved. In the middle of a game now, so posting quickly. Bennett pitching with Daniels in the box. Count is 2-0 before Bennett throws this strike:

Last inning. Not sure what actually happened or was supposed to happen here. PH is Bancroft, his photo and stats appear; hit the enter key for an AB and the first pbp box appears. Don't notice a K in Bancroft's boxscore line so I go to gamelog (2nd pic).
![]() Edit: added the last pic just because it's such a great addition to game enders and, trust me, merciful is an understatement. Glad this is ST.

I got an e-mail with an error in it.
The title of the e-mail was "Hits blitz for Giants Wagner" The message was "Dave Wagner of the New York Giants had an outstanding game against the Cubs. His 5-hit day included a cycle and 1 run batted in as New York picked up a 4-3 victory at Polo Grounds III....." The game was played at West Side Park II, home of the Cubs. Edit: Just noticed I got a second e-mail with the same story except no mention of the cycle and it had the same error (wrong park). That headline read "Wagner torches Cubs for 5 hits". Not sure if it's been reported yet or not. Wrong count in this one (should be 2-2).

I must've misunderstood the use of this particular token, so I changed it. Thanks!

Not sure where this should go:
In the city search, Northridge, Ca. does not come up. Northridge only comes up with 2 results, both from Ohio. |
