database::load - database could not load world file
I just got a new laptop and installed ootp9 on it. i am trying to get the 1970's quickstart file to work. I have it downloaded and after setting up the league, I receive this error message - database::load - database could not load world file. What am I doing wrong? How can I fix this?

Is the league in your saved-games folder?
Is there a world.dat file in the league directory? There should be if you set it up correctly.

There has to be a world.dat file in the leaguename.lg directory (not a subdirectory under it) along with the other dat files. If there isn't, the league won't open.

yup, see the world dat file. still not loading. i'm getting the same error message.
the icons don't look like my computer is reading them. the icons within the folders don't look right. there's something that my computer isn't picking up. my computer isn't reading the dat files. i don't know how to correct that problem. |
