BZ 3378: Bookmarked reports still not sticking

Set up a new fictional league tonight to try things out before the patch. Went to bookmark my Minor League System Report. Went to another screen and then used the bookmark to return to the minor league report, but instead of that I got the default Basic Batting Stats Report instead. Tried again to bookmark the minors with the same result. This behaviour was also present in OOTP9 and was noted.

Agreed.
When you bookmark a "report" it only bookmarks the report function, not the actual report.
I have learned to just live with this.
Not that it isn't annoying.

Annoying it is, but this should be fixable. I kept playing with the league and checked out other reports, including the financial report. Lo and behold, the next time I went to the report screen up came the financial report as the first thing I saw! I fiddled some more and looked at the minor league system report. Went off, played some games, then came back to the report screen from my club's home page. Yup, up came the minor league system report as soon as I selected reports. I was even able to bookmark it and have it stick. Somewhere in the code it seems to be saving the last report looked at and then coming back to it the next time reports are selected, but the bookmark function isn't always hooking on to that. As kcroyalgm sez, it's bookmarking the report function but not the specific report being examined when the bookmark is created. Surely the mind that solved minor league coaching staff transfers can get the report bookmarking humming along in no time flat.

Hardly a game-breaker, but another of the little problems that seems to carry over from version to version.
