Historical Leagues - Database Not Found?

Bizarre bug (not really game threatening)... after I start a historical league and after it imports all the players, it gives the error that it can't find the database. Sort of annoying

Not nearly as annoying as having to delicense and relicense the game every time I boot though.

Actually correction, that bug is a game-breaker as well. Once the game has it in its head the path isn't correct (even though it successfully got the original players from that path) it refuses to import historical rookies.

Thanks for your post, and sorry for the delay in getting back to you. The first few weeks are always pretty busy around here!

Some questions:

1. Which operating system are you running the game on?
2. Is this a new league in OOTP 10, or an old, converted league?
3. Did you install the game to the default directory? (You shouldn't need to, just trying to understand some things.)

cannot find historical data base

i am seem to have two directories

\\marigold\users\bvasilofsk\Out of the Park Developments\OOTP Baseball 10

and

C:\Program Files\Out of the Park Developments\OOTP Baseball 10

do i need to re-install

Actually, those directories don't look normal at all. I am assuming that this one is the one where your saved_games folder resides:

\\marigold\users\bvasilofsk\Out of the Park Developments\OOTP Baseball 10

Usually, this is in My Documents. So, it's not default. Plus, it looks like it's mapped to a different computer (one named "marigold").

What is your Data folder set to in OOTP preferences?
