I've tried twice now to download OOTP X onto my storage hard drive (my main hard drive is full and won't let me transfer data to a new hard drive - it's a long annoying story.) When I try to run OOTPsetup.exe I get the following messages:
make sure you have got all required files (I then click ok and get) No installations data found! (I then click ok and get) The instruction at "0x722968fb" referenced memory at "0x00a900cc". The memory could not be "read". Click on OK to terminate the program. Same messages both times. My computer is a Gateway with intel pentium D processor 805 dual-core 64-bit processor at 2.66ghz on each processor with 1 gig of RAM. I'm running Win XP Media Center which unfortunately has received all available updates which is eating up what little space was left of my boot drive. The drive I have downloaded OOTPX to is a 1 TB Maxtor external hard drive hooked up via firewire cable. Everything else on the external runs fine. |

After copying more files off my boot drive and freeing up hard disk space, I'm able to now run the installer and everything seems to finally work. Obviously it's time to fix my boot drive issues....

Since it seems like this issue has been resolved by the original poster, I'll go ahead and close this one. Glad to hear everything is working now! (Although sorry about the boot drive hassle!)
