Scouting Suggestions?

Just thought I would solicit input to setting up AI evaluation that I guess scouts use. I WANT to use the scout evaluation option, but I still want it to be pretty accurate (I've been burned a couple times releasing/signing players who turn out very different than initially scouted).

Currently, I have a scout who highly favors tools, so I understand he will be a little more hit a miss (finds more superstars, but probably will hit a few more busts). That's fine with me.

I have the AI evaluation set to ratings 80%, current year 10%, last year 7% and 2 years ago 3%.

Any suggestions?

I really just get as highly rated a scout as i can in all the scouting categories, then simply hope for the best. I leave AI evaluation as it is set but I take my own evaluation of the players stats into account when making decisions. While I look at the AI scout's evaluation to start with, I base most of my decisions on my own evaluation.
