Game crashes during Scouting

I did the full install of the second patch. My save game worked fine until I got to August 1. It appears to be related to scouting since this is the time for ratings to be updated. Also, if I turn scouting off and then back on I get the same crash.

What to do?

I had the same problem... posted a few days ago... never got an answer.

I figured out if you turn off scouting in the game setup menu, you can continue to play without further problems.

I prefer playing with scouting on, so I sure hope they fix this soon.

Yip, got the same crash issue as u guys post patch..

Anyways after seriously blowing my game up and destroying records etc (and recking my current game in the process

) i seem to have found some common cause..

It appears this bug is an issue where scouting accuracy is set to "Very High"

I can actually get it to crash with this on a fresh game start, just create an MLB style fictional league, set scouting accuracy to Very High -> Start Game -> crash during scouting

Doesnt appear to do it on the other settings

I've had the same problem after I installed the 2nd patch. I started a new MLB quickstart, changed the scouting accuracy to 'very high', and the game crashed.

Hi again to all having the scouting problem...

Apparently they've just updated patch #2 (called patch 3 is some places) to fix the scouting crash bug.

I'm downloading (and crossing my fingers) as I post this...

Just installed updated patch #2 (took the version to 10.2.16)

Turned scouting back on successfully! (It also seemed faster, but that is probably my imagination!)

Time to get back at it... my real life was about to get me down!

Right. This was addressed in 10.2.16.
