Trading Difficulty ??

Managed 2 years as the Cubs Manager now.

I set the trading difficulty settings to "Average".
My ML goes down to Single A.

I easily won the World Series twice. And I really mean easily.

There are so many Free Agents to sign to my AA or A teams.
I just use a lot of them as "throw in" players to complete trades.
I am not cheating with trades. I don't force them.
I just give up 5 players or so from minors for one big player and it works.

1) Is the setting "Average" let's say considered to be "Very Easy" instead?
2) Are my signings of FA from that huge pool not correct (long term speaking)?
3) With which level are you playing, I mean what is your difficulty level?
4) Any other ideas for me (the newbie)?

no offense but you dont need to cheat and force trades.

I think the ai is pretty weak on trades cause I see if I like sign a bunch of veteren's from FA for minor league contracts, then use them in my deal, I can really give them like 5-7 junk players for 1 stud one usually.

I don't.

So you set your level to "very hard/difficult"?

you can still manipulate it.

I dont do it I just tried it out quite a few times till they would agree to a trade, then cancelled it and tried to make it even to better players on both sides.

So tbh no reason for me to keep it on very hard.
