My only OOTP X wish

I enjoy knowing what's going on around my league. However, in one of my leagues (simming, not managing in-game) I find that the amount of mail is a little time consuming.

I find myself not really caring if someone has a day to day injury that only lasts a few days. Or if, for instance, a player will only be out a day or two - especially a starting pitcher who isn't scheduled to pitch on the day(s) he misses.

So, my wish would be an option allowing you to set injury notification preferences to only inform you of events which match your managerial notification preferences. So, if I set it to only notify me of injuries lasting at least five days.. not only will that effect my personal team, but any news I see in my inbox.

Obviously this would be an option, not something forced on everyone.

Do the News Subscription and Exit Auto-Play settings in the Manager Options not accommodate this?

Is that what I mean? All this time have I been able to filter out short term injuries from around the league (while still seeing all other league news) and I've not known it?

Perhaps I'm not being clear. I'm not complaining about auto-play exiting. Simply that if I don't have any exit-worthy news for a bit once it DOES stop I wind up with 67 emails from around the league. Trimming out the 1,2,3,4 day period injuries would cut this down quite a bit.

I can set my team notifications to only stop me if someone is out for at least a week, but I still get information regarding players from around the league who are out for 2 days with a stomach flu.

I was originally speaking of an additional option to the page.

Am I simply not combining my options correctly all these versions?

Yes, go into the managerial options and uncheck the exit when player suffers DTD injury box and you will no longer be bothered with any DTD injuries...

That's not true. You'll still get the emails about DTD injuries, it just won't exit auto play. He doesn't want to get the emails at all. I'd love to see a setting that keeps the emails from coming, not just keeps auto play from stopping.

I'm guessing that means there's no way to accomplish what I want after all. Had my hopes up for a minute there. Was guessing I wasn't missing it. Granted the email system hasn't been quite like this forever, but this being my 9th version I thought I knew my way around the game pretty well. I would have rather been surprised at my stupidity, in this case.
