Fictional League with real MLB Players?

I'm sure this has been asked many times before.
What is procedure to set up a small fictional league 16 - 20 teams,
using real MLB players. I would like to do an inaugural draft as well.

You could try this:

1) Set up a default MLB league.
2) During League Creation select the option to hold an Inaugural Draft. You may have to switch to the Advanced League Creation path if the option doesn't show up before step six.
3) After you click to start the game, go to Game Setup>League Setup and move, delete or rename as many teams as you want. Delete divisions, if you want to, or an entire league.
4) Run the Inaugural Draft.

I've never tried the second and fourth steps in a historical league, but I know that the first and third work (and the second and fourth work in fictional leagues).
