If you create a fictional character(Steven Strasburg), and make him draft eligible, and you find a pic. of him and size it 90 x 135, can you get that picture of him in the game?

I am total new to this game, any help would be great, so thanks in advance.

Yes, you can do exactly that.

You would generate a fictional player. Then, you would use the player editor to edit that fictional player into Strasburg. You would (obviously) change his name, physical traits (height, weight, DOB, race, etc...), then the really interesting thing comes up.

You would edit his personal ratings (greed, loyalty, work ethic) and his actual and potential ratings.

This is the real trick in creating prospects, coming up with logical ratings so that they are baseball players, not cartoons. In Strasburg's case, according to most every scout or writer I have seen in print, he needs to have high actual ratings, and higher potential ones. He needs to be exceptional.

One trick to using the editor is to find some players you know well and then open up the player editor on them. Look them over and figure out how they tick. Once you do that a few times, you will start to get a good grasp on how to make a player from scratch.

Ok, I have done that..but I can't figure out how to get his picture in there..any help with that?

Make sure its a .png file and you you name it Steven_Strasburg.png Then you place that file in your Documents/Out of the Park Developments/OOTP10/saved_games/(pick your league file here)/news/html/images. Once in there reopen the game, and you should see it. If not try it with steven_strasburg.png I'm fairly certain its the first one, but I've been wrong before.

To correct JWay, make sure it is a .jpg file and NOT a .png file. So you would name it Stephen_Strasburg.jpg
