Yeah, that one was common in 9 as well.

Never bothered me enough to submit it here though

'There's two out'

The use of 'there's' is fine if there's only one out, but it should be 'there're' when there're two.

The text team decided (last year, I think) not to change it, since "there's two out" is commonly used in conversation. It may not be grammatically correct, but it sounds natural enough not to worry about it.

Might have been posted already...

Pitcher was behind 2-0 in the count by the PbP said:

"Sanchez (pitcher) is ahead in the count 2-0..."

Thanks for posting it.

Boy, I need to work on these retirement announcements.
They need a lot of work.
They are just too short in most cases.

Assigning Neutral Park Factors

Small typo occurs when you try to assign neutral numbers to all ballparks. It assigns the factors fine but, it does display the wrong confirmation info. I will post snapshots of assigning the factors and the confirmation snapshot below.

This BZ is marked WORKSFORME.

The next time it happens, bddog, please report the PbP verbatim. That may help to isolate the problem. Thanks.

the PbP says that it was lined towards the first base coach, but when you look at the position of the ball you can clearly see that it was hit on the side of the third base coach

The announcer knows that the first and third base coaches switched for that inning... they tried to trick him, but you can't trick the OOTP pbp guy.

Another minor one

I have had a couple of times where the PBP says "that's one strike on <pitcher>." Should be <hitter>.

After that, the game just went to the next batter and showed me there was one out. I went to check the last PBP to see if I blinked or something, and that is the screen shot posted above there.

I had to go to the log to see what happened:

The PBP never told me he was thrown out at third. It completely stopped, as seen above, once he was digging for second.
This happened again. My catcher hit a ball into the LF corner and the last thing the PBP tells me was he was rounding first. Didn't even mention he was digging for second. Then there is an out and no one on base. I had to look at the Game Log to see he was thrown out at third trying to stretch the double.

Any idea if this is being looked at for the first patch?

Really Minor one...

This is a really minor one, but one nonetheless...

I saw a pbp blurb that said "A RBI for.." when it should read "An RBI for..."

Yeah, just had the exact same thing happen to me...

This is standard usage in OOTP. When you see "RBI", think "run batted in." Then "a RBI" makes sense. Personally, I'd prefer "an RBI."

Two times I've had a 3b at bat ground out to third and the pbp substituted the batter's name for that of the defensive 3b. E.g., Ventura grounds to third. Ventura fields and throws in time to retire Ventura at first. (Sorry no screen shot, but I was too into the game to stop and take it). Thanks.
