BZ 3220 : Double Play, No Run Awarded

Please do your best to provide the following information:

1. What, specifically, were you doing when the problem occurred? Include the specific screen you were on when the problem occurred.

In game

2. What happened? Was there an error message? If so, what was the specific message?

This has happened to me a couple of times, with a runner on first and third with one out the batter will ground into a double play, the game will say the run scored but no RBI is awarded, yet the run won't register

3. Were you able to repeat the error with this same game? With another game? If so, what steps did you take?

Yes, I didn't do it on purpose, its happened at least 3 times

4. If relevant, what do you think the program should have done?

A run should have scored

5. What is your league configuration (fictional/historical, etc.)

A major league game from 2009

6. Are you a PC, Mac, or Linux user?

Mac

This is the first time I've ever submitted one of these, so feel free to provide feedback or move this post to the appropriate place.

This aside, great job on the game and I'm really enjoying it

I believe that 10.04 (b) of the Official Baseball Rules covers this eventuality

The official scorer shall not credit a run batted in
(1) when the batter grounds into a force double play or a reverse-force double play; or

Therefore the game is acting correctly.

When you say a run didn't score, did the batting team's score not go up by 1 or did you mean that nobody got credited an RBI?

Well look at the text and then look at the game log, the text says that Hinske crosses the plate, but Vasquez doesn't get the RBI, which makes sense. The problem is that in both the Game Log and the Game itself no run is awarded..
