The same for me. It seems to have stopped. I never (knock on wood) reached a 'locked out' state. I wonder why that has been the case for both of us and are there others who suddenly have their program running properly for no apparent reason. Is there a common denominator?

and for my money, aside from the initial hassle over licensing, I find the program to not be buggy at all. But if I was unable to play I'd be pretty p**d as well.

Frankly, I don't know why I have to show you a damned thing about what I know about using this forum. But hey, there's a feather in my cap.

All the previous Mac versions (2006, 2007, 9) have been rock solid for me and this version isn't in a way that fundamentally keeps me from playing the game. That may be minor to you, but it's not to me. To me, this plus the multiple crashes I've already reported equals a buggy release.

If you need more understanding of where I'm coming from then I don't think I can give it to you. And on that note, I'm done with this thread.

Are you kidding? "Besides note being able to get into the game..." Uh, I'd say that would qualify as the buggiest bug of all.

(On the other hand, I will say that I've been impressed so far with the apparent stability of the game, once I'm in it. Of course, I've hardly done anything close to everything there is to do in the game......And I would also add that commenting on the apparent stability is in direct contrast to OOTP9 which was horrible to start with (much better after patches))

I have an iBook G4 1.33Ghz 1.25MG Ram OS 10.5.7

I've not had any big problem with OOTP10... yet.

When I play at home, it seem to play OK. At work, it won't load all the way and keeps telling me my to enter my license.

Maybe OOTP10 needs an active internet connection to play? At work, we have to connect to the internet through a proxy server.

Mac version of the game needs an internet connection.
PC version does not.

I'm having the same issue on one of my macs (I'm using both licenses). It is interesting to note that the mac with issues is on a really crappy connection. It's DSL, but dog-slow, and I'm wondering if there's a timeout issue in play.

I have added a FAQ about this issue to our web site.

Note that I didn't see any evidence that uninstalling/reinstalling has any appreciable effect, nor would I recommend messing around with the individual files on the machine.

However, CardinalsFan, I don't believe I saw anywhere that the problem was fixed and would be in the next patch?
