SSH FTP OOTP X Connection

I've poured through the manual and searched the forums for any mention of configuring the FTP connection in OOTP X to upload using a secure connection.

Does the game currently offer this?

If not, do the developer(s) plan implementing such a feature?

There is discussion regarding the possibility of implementing SFTP in the future, but currently the game does not support it.
