The other thread that I have is starting to get cluttered, so I figured I would create another to announce GM openings.

The United States Players Alliance is a players league. Basically, we have 8 GMs and all other league members simply manage their players. You can create up to 3 players...I randomly generate these players, and change basic information such as name, height, weight, etc. All new players go into the USPA Draft League until the next draft is held, which is usually in the off-season.

Player leagues are very interactive. You, as a handler, have many ways to upgrade the players you manage through attending live sims, recruiting, creating a player website, writing articles/sim reports, participating in weekly trivia, playing in our forum arcade, etc. Our league is very interactive and you'll get to know everyone very quickly.

Currently, the only GM opening that we have is Austin, the defending USPA champions. However, we are always accepting new players and applications for future GM openings. There is a strong possibility that more openings could arise in the coming days and weeks.

Player leagues do require more time than traditional leagues. As a GM, you will have constant interaction with the players on your team. You are responsible for dealing with player problems, negotiating contracts, etc.

To be considered for a GM opening, you must own a working copy of OOTP 9. Newbie GMs are welcome, although preference is given to those with knowledge of player leagues. To apply for the Austin position, you must register on the league forum, create your players, and post an application.

Austin has found a new GM. However, we are always accepting GM applications. I am hoping to expand within the next 2-3 seasons.

If you don't own OOTP 9, please feel free to join the league and simply create players. There is PLENTY to do to keep you busy with just controlling your players.

The Lansing Spirit are in need of a new GM. If you're interested, please register on the league forum, create your players, and post a GM application.

We will be switching to OOTP X sometime in the future, so please keep that in mind if you're interested.

We are still in need of a GM or two, and we are always looking for new players. We are almost at the trade deadline of the 2010 season. Beginning next season, we will begin using OOTP X.

Going to give this a bump. We currently do not have any GM openings, but we are always looking for new players! The playoffs are beginning on Sunday, and I am expecting to make the switch to OOTP X on August 7th.
